1. Introduction

Welcome to Companio. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Companio website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Platform.

2. Role of the Platform

Companio acts solely as a technology intermediary. Our Platform enables users ("Clients") to find and book time with other users ("Companions") for platonic, social companionship. We are not a party to any agreement or interaction between users and disclaim all liability related to the conduct of users.

3. User Eligibility and Verification

Clients must be at least 18 years of age. Companions must be at least 21 years of age. All users must successfully complete our mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) and background verification process before their account is activated. Providing false information will result in immediate account termination.

4. Code of Conduct

All users must adhere to a strict code of conduct based on respect, consent, and safety. This includes, but is not limited to, the following prohibitions:

• No Sexual Services: The solicitation, offer, or performance of any sexual services or acts is strictly forbidden. Companio is a non-sexual, platonic platform.
• No Illegal Activities: Use of the platform to facilitate any crime or illegal act is prohibited.
• No Substance Abuse: Users must not be under the influence of illegal substances during any companionship session.
• No Recording Without Consent: Recording, photographing, or broadcasting any part of a session without the explicit, documented consent of all parties is forbidden.

Violation of this code will lead to account suspension or termination.

5. Booking and Payment

Bookings are made through the Platform. Clients must pay the specified fee at the time of booking. All payments are held in a secure escrow account and are released to the Companion 24 hours after the successful completion of the booking. This protects both parties.

6. Consent and Boundaries

Consent is mandatory and central to our platform. Users must respect personal boundaries at all times. Any physical contact must be mutually consented to and must remain platonic. Users have the right to end a session at any time if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Companio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any interaction between users.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes, and your continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
